It's clear I'm not alone, but this review is entirely my long-winded opinion on aspects of game that I would like more if they were changed or reworked.

Front mission games used RNG in a good way . Great fun game.
Banner saga -> RNG. Used it well. Great fun game.
I'm sure you can think of a few Turn-based RNG games as well...
My point isn't that I don't like RNG; I don't like how 2K uses RNG in XCOM, whether they intended to be like this or not.
Sorry, but as a review that makes no sense, it's like saying you didn't like Call of Duty because it was 1st person, or that Need for Speed would be better without the cars in it.
If my review was TL/DR, I'm mainly griping about the game mechanics. Not so much graphics, UI, etc.
