Hi, really good Job on this mod again !
I have a strange Issue. when using the shield with S-Thrusters on the IMDC atlas Ship ( https://node2.projectplanet.cn/@steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=388699615 ) and only this one, the thrusters are draining the shield. Note that the ship have a lot of merge blocks but even when disconnected the draining is still here even if there is no damage anywhere when completely drained.

Do you see a visual effect on where it is draining? It has been a long time issue and something on Keen's end that I cannot fix (wrong damage reports), but I would be interested on where exactly the damage is being reported, on the thruster itself? Oh and btw, the workaround for that is to deactivate thruster damage, that works 100%.

The visual effects of the Shield are on some thrusters but not all... I've uploaded the world if you wan't I can send you a link

Ok After some test I found it only happens on slopped thrusters.

Old bug within the damage system (nothing I can fix), workaround is to deactivate thruster damage.

Hi Cython,

I think I have a problem with your Mod since your Update on May 22nd. Whenever your Mod is in the world, the game sort of "mini crashs", it does not go back to desktop, but the listet stats under shift+F11 dissapear and need a time to reload. This happens in irregular second spaced intervals. Anny thoughts on it? I dont know if something like this gets in to the error log. I would have send it to you if it would have been a full crash.
The world uses the amor ramps mod, may it bee that the new effects have a problem with that?

I have noticed a bug whne you shoot powered blocks it can cause damage to them like they are burning or such but when you take a welder to them they are not but they still spark like they are and its rather annoying since the audio is present

@MusicLordNHY Engine/damage system bug with explosion damage, has to be fixed by Keen.

@3eepoint Never seen it, I'm using it with tons of other mods and had no such issue. :O Did you try to verify the local game files?

Game files are valid, I could reproduce the issue if I place small shield reactors on a small ship in high numbers, no other mods at all.

Fantastic mod.
Recently noticed that the visual effects are not seen on my dedicated server.
Also there is an odd lag issue were server sim speed fluctuates wildly causing rubberbanding.

1. The effect is broken because of the latest update, but that seems to be a bug in the new particle system (it worked fine before, and the methods did not change), so I'm waiting for Keen's response. If they take too long, there is a workaround I can do which might look not that good though.
2. As of yet I could not reproduce any simspeed issues, so I can't help right now in that regard. You can upload your world (like dropbox) and post me a link here though. I have to analyze seperate parts of the code and I have to choose them before runtime, so having a world that reliably lags might help me to identify the issue better. Let's hope it is not one of Keen's own functions that causes it, because otherwise we will be DOOOOMED.

Thanks, ill send our old world we stopped using a week ago.
Note: there are alot of mods, I isolated the airlock mod and the shields as potenial culprits.
i would remove the airlock one too.
makes sense that the new particals would break some stuff.

This is no longer a live world but from the point where the lag was the worst in mp just before I spent the entire weekend widdling the issue down until pulling this mod fixed it. I can supply a live world backup if you want as well where we had the same lag but out of member privacy reasons I'd prefer not to post it publicly.
