i tried to edit your clothes files with paint, but there is now a big square with the texture in it floating around the pawn. Which program did you use and how can i fix it? Or is it too complicated to understand via a steam comment? Thank you

the "problem" is, i just conceptually dislike RW powerarmors, so if i do a redeign, it'll be a functional redesign too... and i have a whole lots of bunche of shit i'd be doing before getting there...

The final two errors on the log are now showing when the bug occurs (on hovering over the rustic style icon).
Most of the errors seem to be just from mods that I have downloaded, but this is the only mod activated, launched with rimpy and loaded after all the dlc if that makes any difference.

Seems to break the rustic style in 1.5, a large part of the ideoligion customisation screen goes blank and you are unable to remove the style , getting this issue even with just this mod and base + all dlc.

Google bulletproof vest or ballistic vest, look at the images.

The sides of the armor are usually quite open and spacious on the side. They don't look like the little arm holes that are present in the current graphics.

It would look better if the arm holes were either removed or the open space made much larger so that the side looks exposed like with most armor vests. This draws away the attention of there being arms that don't exist.

Hey it's your mod man, I'm just making an observation that it kinda looks silly when none of the other graphics, vanilla or tastier have this mechanic in place.

btw the mod throws a red error if you're NOT using CE:

this is because the loadfolders.xml is incorrectly written. It loads the CE folder if Ideology is loaded instead of loading the CE folder if CE is installed.

It should instead check if CE is loaded and then load the ideology folder if that one is also installed.

If you want to depict things like the flak vest being open on the side like the vanilla flak vest does then instead of having arm holes, it should cut out a much larger portion of the apparel piece so as to indicate that the side of the apparel is open and not that there is simply an armhole there for non-existent arms to wriggle in. So it doesn't necessarily need to be filled in completely at all times. You just got to make sure that the viewer never realizes that pawns don't have arms. I think that's is the most important part of the illusion.

If you look at the Tastier's version of female body type tribal wear. It actually already does this kind of. Idk if the author forgot to add holes or never noticed it himself but that one doesn't have arm holes compared to the others and I don't think it is 'supposed' to have imaginary sleeves either.

Take the basic t-shirt as an example. It would be somewhat closer to tribal wear in that it would have holes you could see from the side in 'reality' but it has none in the actual graphics. That's good! Because you don't start thinking about them needing arms that way. It just blends away in our imagination.

So just apply what the basic shirt did to the flak vest and tribal wear and the holes disappear magically.

All of the clothing where it is supposed to have sleeves it just pretends they don't exist at all and just fills in the part where the arms are as part of the clothing item itself. The duster doesn't have any sleeves from the side view for example even though it obviously 'should' have one. This is the compromise. Like the blind spot in our vision, we just fill it up. So the sleeves just get filled up and we pretend we never seen no sleeves but they are there in our imagination.

The reverse works too for flak vests and tribal wear. Instead of putting holes there, you just fill it up so there are no actual holes indicating any kind of 'arm' action or 'sleeves' needing to be there. Just close your eyes and imagine it all away :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Only thing which is kind of jarring is that the flak vest and the tribal versions have open arm pit holes in their graphics.

None of the other versions have holes in the clothing which show where the arms are 'supposed' to be. This creates a jarring experience if you have other clothing or items that go over it.

Flak vests look kind of goofy with holes in them when looked from the side, the same effect applies for tribal wear. This is honestly the only critique I can give of these textures.

Imma might make some custom textures to fix this for myself :lunar2019laughingpig:
