MARIO KART - SWEET SWEET CANYON [V1.6]

Description
MAP IS CURRENTLY INCOMPATIBLE WITH ALL AROUND ENHANCEMENT

Ten of Mario's friends and enemies have been invited to Sweet Sweet Canyon by Rubix the Yoshi, but when they get there, the only entities greeting them are possessed gummy Yoshis...

Welcome to Sweet Sweet Canyon from Mario Kart! This map is based on the same map as in Mario Kart 8, however the layout has been changed quite a lot! I uploaded another version of this map a few weeks ago. However, as this map is part of Noah J's mapping contest, I couldn't update the map until he played it, so I just decided to make a new listing for the map. There are a few bug fixes and a few new features and improvements, so please be sure to check out the Update Notes discussion page here on v1.0 for all the new additions since the other version.

If you are having problems with being able to move in the air when using the jumppads, try changing to a lower framerate (144fps or below). Jumppads do not work with super high fps.

Ignore the complaints. This map is literally perfect.

Agree with The Cool Guy264, cool map but very frustrating to play.

Good map, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much going on. Delete half of the useless time consuming/annoying things and you'll have improvement. To list them:
- Every single perk does not need to be a soul box
- The juice rising is more annoying than challenging
- Bone avogadros can kill you instantly and should be erased, nabbit is a boss zombie enough
- Soul cylinders needing the specific yoshi color is absolutely awful. Too tight of spaces to try to only kill the few colored yoshis you need. Should just act as regular soul boxes or change the useless 60 seconds buy to be 60 seconds of only a specific color yoshi spawing in
- Miss a pipe jump and you're dead
- Pointless barrier buys since 90% of the time you can just jump around them
- Box guns are really bad
- Jump pads don't bounce you correctly, so if you're not actively moving to try to reach the next one in the sequence you will most likely fall and die
- Should have an option to disable cutscenes/tooltips

I have never experienced so many annoying things at once when it comes to feeding the yoshi or the fucking drybones thing running at you at sonic speeds damn near one shotting you. Then having to wait over 10 minutes for the soul boxes to rise slightly higher so when you fill them it doesn't feel like I'm wasting my time since how little the base soul boxes give. Then having to fill them with specific colors of yoshi which becomes EXTREMELY annoying especially when the soulbox is in a tight space and you can't move at all. Then the jump pads have a random chance to just insta kill you which ya know FUN. Then the perks being random every fucking time gets really annoying since how spread out they are and how many perks while useful aren't as useful as jug especially with dealing with the drybones.

But hey the visuals are good.

Gameplay 2/10

visuals 9/10

@KutaG59 That would be an fps issue then, see this part of the description

'If you are having problems with being able to move in the air when using the jumppads, try changing to a lower framerate (144fps or below). Jumppads do not work with super high fps.'

@Sgt. Spike They aren't manual, Its most definitely an issue or bug I am holding different keys, trying a controller etc. I just stay going between the open ends of the tube, or being launched straight up by the Jump feature.

@HeadHoncho They're not auto, they're manual. You have to control where you land yourself
HeadHoncho 31 Jul @ 9:40pm
The auto movement platforms are bugged I am stuck in the tubes and the jumps send me into the water
