IMS Purveyor of Fate ITS-H-600A Heavy Interstellar Transit Vessel

Description
Gründel-Curad IMS ITS-H-600A Purveyor of Fate
Hemerodromus IV-Class Heavy Interstellar Transit Vessel

Produced by Gründel-Curad during the early 24th century (March 2307), the IMS Purveyor of Fate was the first vessel of its kind to successfully make a transit from one system to another. Built as part of the Hemerodromus colony ship line, this version, iteration 4, was the first successful design to get prospective citizens from one system to another relatively safely. However, it was not fast by any means, taking around 30 years to travel 5 lightyears.

As the IMS expanded its colonization operations, it found a need for efforts to expand past the origin system, support that could transcend the various obstacles earlier attempts at interstellar travel presented (micrometeorites, supplies, time, etc.). Thus the ITS-H-600A was created. A joint project between Gründel Aerospace's civilian sector and Curad's military division, Purveyor of Fate paved the road to cooperation between civilian and military sectors for the betterment of the IMS, despite coming across many troubles integrating the needs of both sectors. The vessel was the largest ship of its era and dwarfed any supporting vessels in length alone.

During its transition phase, it uses its two Kulav CNP78500 Cold-Core Nuclear Beam Drives as well as the rearline Kulav CF5600 Vortex-Confined Cold-Fusion engine to propel it 1/6 the speed of light within a burn period of around 10 months and 14 days. Afterwards, it drifts at this constant speed, taking 17 months before all external radiators become cool enough to utilize the engine again. During the last two years of its journey, Purveyor of Fate would perform a flip-and-burn, taking another 10.5 months to retro-burn to slow down.

While the Purveyor of Fate did not have a crew of more than 8, later variants were fitted with a higher amount of cryopods to help a newfound colony grow quicker. People who wanted to travel the stars were able to do so, no longer restricted by the slowness of pre-existing ship engines. IMS had sent out a recruitment notice and citizens were quick on the uptake. Select few were hired due to the limited room. It was launched from the Curad-IV launch site on Sept 13, 2319, successfully, and with hopes to hear back with good news from their newly fitted laser communications array and the backup radio antennae array. Unfortunately, IMS Command never heard from the Purveyor of Fate again after it truly exited the edge of the system, not in 30 years, not in 60 years. In 2389 at the tail end of the year, with newer technology to travel out there in a more timely manner, the Purveyor of Fate was found to have suffered a retro-burn miscalculation. It proceeded to crash and suffered multiple hull breaches before atmospheric re-entry. Only one survivor was recorded in the vessel's logs, his fate not known to this current day. As to not disturb those who lost their lives, the location was never made public, and nothing was recovered save for an old recruiting poster for the fateful voyage.

=SCRIPTS USED=
-SIMPL Ship Integrity Monitoring Program Light
-AutomaticLCDs2
-Whip's Auto Door and Airlock Script

=FEATURES=
-Functional Solar and Habitation Rings (They Spin)
-Gravity on the Hab Ring is NOT modeled correctly due to building inexperience and not knowing how (or where) I would put the spherical gravity generator in a way that won't affect the bridge
-Fully furnished interior with proper conveyor access in survival
-Solar Array can be folded during transit
-Exterior Walkways for the main station habitation module and the conveyor trek to the front of the station. Due to the ring being able to spin, these two walkways are NOT connected
-Docking Ports near the cargo and defensive armament are made for CEP-3A Crew Transfer Pods (Upload Pending)
-THIS IS MY FIRST "SHIP" MADE PROPERLY(Properly as in it was made for a survival setup as well as the first functional ship [able to move around without imploding])
-This is also my first attempt at making a recruiting-esque poster but I think it turned out well enough

=NOTICES=
OF THE EIGHT CRYOPODS, THE TOP 4 DO NOT HAVE OXYGEN SUPPORT DUE TO HOW IT IS BUILT, THEY ARE THERE FOR AESTHETICS
