I think you care too much about what you made here and the fact you don't want this in a modpack shows how much I am right. Im not confused, you are just annoying and petty. If you were merely concerned with conflicts between mods, you wouldn't tell everyone they cant use your mod. Instead, you feign concern, as if conflicts in modpacks are such a terrible thing that NOBODY can now use your mod. Ok then. Its your choice, I just dont respect it. The way copyright works is anything you create is (almost usually) copyrighted to oneself. Thus regardless if the message is there or not, republishing/redistributing stuff is generally against copyright laws and can have consequences. The copyright message is there to help people be more aware of that situation.

In fact, this is the template Steam suggests to use: “Copyright 201X [Owner’s Name.] This item is not authorized for posting on Steam, except under the Steam account named ______”.

The 'No Modpacking' message in the description explains my position on that topic. I suggest you read it to the end.

Copyright infringement? Are you making money off of this free mod? No, but you dont like others using this in a mod pack. Guess what buddy? I made a mod pack by downloading a bunch of mods to play on single player. Tell me, are you mad? Gonna cry that Im infringing on your copyright?
