Junkers F13 with Floats

In 1 collection by Thales
Thales' 1:1 Scale Airplane Replicas

Description
Junkers F 13k with Floats (1:1 Scale, but floats are bigger than original, because of Stormworks' block mass and buoyancy.)

Click Here for the land plane variant.
Click Here for the old amphibious variant which didn't exist in real world.

This is recreation of Junkers F13k with floats, since 1930 with closed cockpit, toilet and wing and more powerful engine. F13k is heavier than first production model F13a because of extra utilities, equipments and being able to takeoff and land on water.

FEATURES

- Medium sized amphibious aircraft
- Fuel economy mode
- Arctic clothing, Diving equipment, Parachute and few other equipments
- Winch with mag all for anchoring or maybe carrying small cargo beneath
- Cozy interior with heater, seats, a bed and the most importantly a toilet
- Various cruise and stability controls and indicators
- Fuel consumption dials
- Stabilizer

PILOT'S MANUAL

1. Magnetos ON
2. Fuel Coc.k switch ON
3. Fuel valve to max (0.30)
4. Throttle up
5. Start the engine either pressing [2] or, if you want realistic approach, press and hold "Swing Propeller" button to start the engine. (Stand clear of the propeller or you may get injured or even die.)
6. Reach speed over 100-110 km/h before takeoff

Note1: Make sure fuel economy mode is disabled when takeoff
Note2: Always takeoff and land AGAINST wind direction if there is wind.

As a Colombian with family tradition in the military I really appreciate the creation, seeing how we used them to defend Leticia from the Peruvians in the 1932 war. Thank you for the awsome plane
