I don't know much about editing the SDK of Gmod, but I do know about Half Life 1. I've added Barniel from Azure Sheep to Half-Life 1, used the same CBarney class inheritance, and changed all sentences from "BA_" to "BN_".
I did all of this with Copy Paste knowledge of C++ programming.
