Other than that, not sure what could cause a sudden downgrade in performance.
There are ''good'' and 'bad' patches in your gpu software as well, some versions are, for whatever reason, slightly more compatible with your setup than others.
After months and months of researching for heavy optimization (without losing quality), I've been able to run it at semi-consistent 60 fps on...70? 80% of the game?
There's still some mayor areas that struggle like crazy.
EAC is indeed a pain in the ass. Tested without it, flawless game.
The damned thing also doesn't prevent a good portion of the more annoying cheats, and also usually creates artificial latency (around 100+ ms as well, not something small).
