I've been a console gamer for my whole life (I'm 33) and about 2 years ago I was talked into getting Diablo 3. I did. My laptop though would (barely) run it at lowest settings. The last area was near unplayable so I decided to get a Dell with a Radeon HD 7770. I decided I should look into getting a new GPU. Then I had to get a new PSU because Dell sucks, then I had to get a new case...and then I got hooked.

Once I got my GTX 670, my gaming life changed. I cannot go back to my 360 now. I can't believe I've been playing games at these awful framerates for so long. I feel like I'm playing Goldeneye on the N64.

I intend on getting another 670 so I can brave SLI. I want to play everything at 1080p60, and with new consoles coming out, PC games won't be as hamstrung as they've been and I think I'll need some more power than I have now.

Update: Just upgraded my GPU (MSI GTX 780), HDD, RAM (16gb), PSU (TX750w Modular).

Update 2: I decided to go all out, built a new PC from scatch. I7-4770k and dual MSI GTX Twin Frozr 780s.

I'm still a PC newbie though and still use my 360 pad for most PC games.
