Let's cut to the chase, this game kicks ass!!
My time with Cookie Cutter has been quite the fun one. The combat is quick and fast paced, and the drawn animation compliments it well. The game presents you with the ability to dodge as well as being able to parry some enemy attacks. I will admit that the window to parry is very tight, and getting the timing will take some work, but once you get it down enemies are a lot easier to take out. If you enjoy fast paced combat and Doom levels of cartoon gore, then this game might be up your alley.
I had the privilege of playing this on the Steam Deck, it was great for the most part but it started to experience a bit of a slow down once the game reached the half way point. I switched to my PC and had a better time continuing, but it also had its fair share of issues when it came to looking what was bellow me, as well as transitioning to a new room. Though this rarely happened.
All in all I had fun, and I look forward to what these guys do for their next game.
