One of the best games I've played in a long while.

Usually you are used to being the top predator on land with overpowered weapons at your disposal, mowing down anything and anyone in your way.
In this game it is the other way around, it leaves you with a feeling of being openly exposed and vulnerable. You gotta be prepared for an attack at any time, from anywhere and defending yourself from the mysterious planet and unknown creatures is no easy task when one of your best weapons at hand is a survival knife.

When I just started, I would NOT at any cost unless starving or dying of thirst, go into the ocean during the night. Everything is very new and very scary, you got no idea what could be down there, and I would usually plan ahead, read the Scan Data and lore while waiting for daylight. If you suffer from thalassophobia, this game is probably gonna be your worst nightmare, when you know there are spooky things in the depth going 700m directly down, being aware that sharks attack from below using the shadow cast by its target from the surface, it leaves you with a tingling feeling in the stomach, a feeling of weakness and vulnerbility, unable to get out of the water and unable to escape really adds to it.

The Sound Design is absolutely phenominal, it adds so much atmosphere, I catch myself just listening to the OST occasionally (9/10)

The graphics are great, the ingenuity, creativity and imagination used to create this world really must of required a mind that thought outside of the box. The world is weird and alien, but it is not overly done, its beautiful, and the animals are believable to be from an alien world. (9.5)

I haven't been this immersed (pun intended) in a game for a very long time. They did an extremely good job at Unknown Worlds Entertainment.

I will be waiting impatiently for possible future DLC.
