Hahaha, if you must know, I've owned the game for over a year. I've played it on and off since then, and only just now been able to beat him. It's less of an enjoyment and more of a matter of pride at this point. XD

Soul Level is just the way Dark Souls refers to your character level. If you just killed Taurus, though, you must have just started the game. Hope you enjoy it!

My Soul level? Erm... not even sure. As far as game progress goes, I can tell you I'm right after fighting (and winning against) the Taurus for the first time. After that though, I've no idea, lol.
