*Note: The reason I give this a thumbs down is due to the fact that the port of the collection gives slow down frame-rates + bugged Achievement "Running the Gauntlet." Despite completing all 13 Stages S rating, the achievement will not pop up for my 100% of the title. Once these problems are fixed I will reverse the Thumbs down into a Thumbs up.

Update: Within 1 Hour and 43 minutes I ran both stages from Zero 1 to ZX Advent (13th bonus stage was already completed before hand) and the Achievement popped up. The Achievement will only pop up if you play through all the games in one setting and completed the Chaser Ghost. Turning the game off mid-game will reset it. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1094052873

I enjoy the collection and I 100%ed it so its now a Thumbs up.

The collection is impressive but the implementation for the Steam Release could be handled better. + Owners of it past the Pre-Order don't get the extra Musics for their OST purchase which is really sad. I want those music to be available outside of youtube access.

Difficulty:Varies
Music: Very reminicent to NES-era compositions. Would recommend listening to.
Gameplay: Challenging but very becoming to those who have played any of the Retro-Castlevania games in the past
Time taken for me to complete 100% :16.8 hours as of May 28th

Having over different characters to choose from that is instead of 3 characters, we have 4. Zangetsu, Mariam, Arthur, and Gebel. Each having their own strengths and weaknesses makes playing this title fresh multiple times and tackling many obstacles in ones path. Multiple difficulty modes welcome back to those who played the classics before and know how the game works or for those that are simply entering and unsure of their skills (Or want to beat the game at a faster time) play Casual. Upon completing the game once over it is NOT the end however. There is more then meets the eye in this indie title as there are multiple paths, choices to take. May they be easier or harder. Thats up to you but overall I had fun with this title.

Each run of the game can take up to about 5 hours max (For my first playthru I had to go asleep since it was very late in the night and my eyes were heavy with sleep) to about 45 minutes to completion of one playthru.

I would recommend this if you want to scratch that Castlevania-itch without the Metroid parts put in.
