I honestly like this better than the sequel. Even with the date graphics I find it extremely immersive, I love exploring the Black Mesa facility, crawling in vents, cursing whenever I see HECU grunts or those flying bastards, finding all the small details, just enjoing the atmosphere. Hell, call me crazy and call your local psychologist, I even find graphics to be beautiful, but probably it's just me being a weirdo (and no, not a nostalgia ♥♥♥, I'm younger than this game). And if you are not weird like me, and if such visuals make you want to throw up, take a look at Black Mesa, a game that revamps the opening (not only, but it's the most visible change), makes graphics and MP5 better, as well as manages to make HECU grunts even worse.
