Early Access Review
Why do you despise the PC community VRC? They're the one providing you content, nobody else is.

Resorting to EAC for a few bad apples and those bad apples already can circumvent it, only leaving an entire community suffering for it.

It literally doesn't matter how much they ban. The hackers will find a way to bypass the security and they will crash everyone. There even is a crasher that only targets quest users. Shaders will also fuck you up. There is no "gardening" in this game. It's literally impossible by the way it is built.

Apple is also not known to be a platform where entertainment takes place and it would be surprising that they'd try to take off as "look we can do fun too guys!" when they hardly scratched the surface years ago by now.

What Apple is known for keeping everyone away from having anything but their products and those products are outrageously overpriced, with all the controversies surrounding Apple as well for not making long lasting products and all the RTR shenanigans, only the fanboys are gonna bite.

Those same users do not provide content to the community and as standalone users have no chance to ever do so because nobody in the mind of wanting "affordable" VR can afford a reasonable computer themselves, many of the users that have Quest don't even know how to make Windows work and it would be quite an easy bet that any popular worlds that keep the Quest users coming back or invest into the game are made by PC users to begin with.

This game breaths particularly because of PC users and the numbers are inflated by Quest users that take advantage of it.

The business decision does have some bias, as it can be proven by the amount of users being banned for providing any feedback that doesn't match the criteria for the Quest platform, in the past years there hasn't been anything that could benefit PC users unless it benefits Quest also.

The majority of Quest users hardly invest into VRC as they come from the "affordable" side of things and there's much less of a reason to pay as the game is unchanged for other than conveniences they do not know of, much of them are merely casuals or underaged along the lines of just as many ToS Terms being broken on the daily with malicious social acts but we don't see any actions taken over that.

(1)A business decision has absolutely no bias towards any one community; It favours money, and factors in money. They will lose a good amount of subscribers for this decision and gain what? Well I'll tell you, and it only takes a minute or two of research to find more. Apple is about to push VR headsets that not only competes with Facebook directly, which is VRChat's current dominant playerbase, but also potentially reveal a high-end (read: for big spenders) headset which, as you could probably assume, will have face tracking and other such support. VRC is pretty much the only platform that supports (and uses) these features.

(2)Apple is rather infamous for what it allows (or does not allow) on its platform, we have two decades of Istore shenanigans to prove that apple does not like user-generated (read: uncensored/uncontrolled) content and as such, requires a very walled garden product before they even bless you with the consideration to be on their esteemed (read: the most profitable) platform and access their elite (read: financially rich but value poor) clientele. It makes complete and total sense from a business perspective, if only you look past the surface-level outrage.
