Wow, this game was great! A very tight, fun story with great gameplay mechanics and multiple interesting hooks. It didn't take super long to get through, but going through the various endings was excellent and fulfilling. I especially loved the 4th ending.

In this game you're a modern person put in an ancient world, and this pays off with the highlights of this game: philosophical discussions about the nature of morality and punishment, connections built with each individual, and the knowledge you gain along the way that can be practically applied. The further you get, the more you feel like a true farseer, messing around with different timelines for clues, and plotting how these pieces fit together. It's insanely satisfying, and the world reacts as you manipulate the fates of the city.

The game is quite beautiful, especially the architecture. The characters look alright, but their writing and personalities are really what set them apart. You come to appreciate some, hate others, and some you may never even meet in the city. Your choices and dialogue very much effect the way people interact with you throughout, and by the end they can even give fewer details depending on their relationship with you and the results of your choices.

With 4 endings (I got three out of 4 in my last play sessions) you'll have different ways to finish the game, but the 4th ending is the real highlight, and doesn't require that much more work.

Overall an excellent title that kept me paying attention the entire time, and replaying the ending to find every last detail.
