Played this during beta quite a bit, I was really excited to see what Brode and his team would put together after Hearthstone. Sadly this isn't it. This game is stuck under this philosophy of not letting you be in control of what cards you get at all, so if you're literally anyone with a brain and want to build a specific deck cause it looks more fun than putting random garbage together, then this game is just not for you.

This is a toilet game, the kind of game that you open up when you're sitting on the throne for longer than needed to proceed with your life, not a game you wanna invest time and money into, since it doesn't respect either. 12€ Battle Passes every month with incredibly annoying quests and randomised collection track rewards so you might spend many levels without getting a new card (if the card is even good at all).

Sad to say that even though the core premise is simple yet fun for a little bit, there's heavy diminishing returns on your time investment to be worth even starting at all.
