ROCKET LEAGUE
It's one of the games that surpassed the decade of gaming even after releasing its prequel PS3 game called Super Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars that didn't play it right. It's one of the best phenomena that got ever created because of it's idea and it's endless space to follow your own creativity. The game where cars split into two equal teams and try to get the higher score than the other team gives you the ability to bring your creativity into your match improving your playstyle and change the current score to your advantage.

Gameplay & Mechanics
The game gives you the ability to steer your car and allows you to raise in the air using up to 100 boost that can be used to create amazing air shows, dribbles and runs leading your way to your's or enemy's goal. At the first hours of your gameplay, the game takes your hand and shows you how to touch the ball to make it move into the direction you wanted, after several hours where you learnt how to push your ball with a nice timing, make your first aerial tries and score some goals, you'll notice that you are really improving and the game feels pretty solid as it's based around your skill.
Author's notes: I have really improved over those few hundreds of active hours and I still have things that I need to improve as the game is limitless and the community finds new mechanics that are bringing your skills to a new level.

Competitive & Tournaments
Rocket League has one of the best Matchmaking Ranking mechanics as it just rewards players for winning and punishes for losing, however MMR points vary from the type of the match, if you were in randomly matchmade team versus the premade team, if you win you'll earn a little bit more and the enemy's team will lose a little bit more and if you lose you'll lose a little bit less and enemy's team will earn a little less as well.
Each rank in the game plays the game different. When you advance in the rank you will see that each one of them plays the game faster and makes less mistakes during the game. Playing rankeds is also a lot of fun as you can try your skill and earn some after-season rewards for your current rank. (It takes 10 placements to reveal your rank)

There is also the Tournament section that you can take a part in for Tournament Points that you can exchange for items from the current season's series. The tournaments are really worth participating in if you have a solid crew you can lift the trophies with. Beside the points, the reward for winning the tournament is the special title including current season and the level you're playing in.

Maps, Gamemodes, Cosmetics & Cars
There are a lot of maps in the game and all of them are really different than each other, most of them even have afternoon or night variant and even a snow variant. There are a lot of gamemodes to play; from basic 1v1; 2v2; 3v3; 4v4 gamemodes, there are basketball, hockey, dropshot and rumble (chaos) modes, developers are also releasing the timed gamemodes that are often really fun to play with friends and give you a little spin from the casual modes.
I'd like to mention that there are a lot of battle cars to choose from. Most of them are like new skins for the existing types but there is a difference of hitbox in either cars like Octane, Dominus, Breakout and Mantis as they perform differently than others.

Rocket Pass is a way to earn some of cool looking cosmetics and an additional reason to play the game. You can refund yourself a whole Pass by reaching the 110 level and have those 1000 credits for the next Rocket Pass.

The game allows you to play a season career with bots vs bots to earn a trophy. You can also set up a custom match to play with your friends or even host an event and invite players to play a bunch of matches for a reward of just some fun.

tl;dr Rocket League is a phenomenon that gives you a lot of fun and the free space to learn some skills and advance in your rank and on the game pitch for the sweet victory. Totally worth to play with and without friends.
