A visual novel in a cyberpunk setting with an interesting premise: You're a bartender serving drinks to customers. Your performance and paycheck at the end of each day is determined by whether you served the correct drinks as requested. The game's story is told naturally through your daily conversations with customers and co-workers. There is also an "off-work" section of the game where you can browse blogs and visit a shop to purchase stuff.

Every ingredient in this game is blended well to form the perfect concoction: Memorable characters, sharp and witty writing, detailed artwork (in a cool retro style), and a wonderful soundtrack. VA-11 Hall-A is a relaxing and refreshing visual novel without the heroic and storytelling expositions of many other VNs. Just like visiting a bar or restaurant, you play this game to chill out, pass the time, and at the end of it all you leave feeling very content and satisfied.

Strong contender for 2016 Indie Game of the Year.
