This will be a genuine take on Cyberpunk 2077.

Before this game was released, everyone was hyped about it. Not a single gamer has not heard the words "cyberpunk", therefore, it raised the bars pretty high with all the marketing and PR. It was also coming from a company that is knows to be consumer-friendly. As a result, the amount of people who wanted to experience it got broader and broader, and everyone has different expectations. Now, I cannot talk on behalf of other people, and do not know what they expected from this game.

For me, it was about a great story and characters that I could feel connected. As with previous CDPR title, The Witcher 3, my sole expectation was a great mixture of these aspects. I do not care about how well is the stealth system, RPG elements, shooting, combat, driving, decision making etc. For me, the most important thing for a single player game is its ability to immerse you into its world, make you feel what characters feel, make you care what they experience and forget about the real word even for a little amount of time.

Cyberpunk 2077 did that just perfectly. I found myself worrying about one character's feelings, going in a hurry to them when they call me, having genuine emotions when certain things happened to them, or us, as a team. The world made me forget about my daily concerns because I was so into the story that I had to see what will happen next, and how will it affect me or the ones I truly care about.

For anyone out there considering these aspects as their priorities, I suggest you to buy the game. It will be worth your time and its price. Even the other aspects are not strong, they will not decrease the joy you will get from the game.

For others, maybe not. You may not like this game, as it has a few issues at the moment.

Technical aspects: The game has bugs and glitches. I must admit, I did not encounter many bugs with the two different computers I have played it on. Throughout my playthrough, I only saw 2-3 minor visual flickerings and a couple of physics related abnormalities, which did not cut my experience off. Also, the optimization is really bad. Even with an RTX 2080 you can't get a stable 60 fps with RTX off ultra settings. I am sure these problems will be solved in the future, so you may stay your hand for now if you want a smoother experience.

Decision making: In this game, you do not control the story mainly. You can have different endings, but thats all. In the majority of this game, you will just experience the story like you are seeing through the main character. That is totally normal for me, and I enjoy the storytelling of CDPR. Just wanted to add it for people who doesn't want it.

RPG elements: The game offers a decent RPG system, but don't look for TES: Oblivion here. It is similar to The Witcher 3, and it is alright.

Shooter: This game is NOT a shooter. If you are looking for a game like CoD or DOOM, do not buy.

The world: They created a good world, but I have to say it is not like any Rockstar game. There is a beutiful city, but there is not a lot to do in it. It creates kinda a fake immersion, but there are also enough genuine aspects that contribute to a true immersive experience, and I think they can add things with the DLCs so I wouldn't worry about this part too much.

Driving: With a MnK, it is impossible to have fun while driving anything. I hope they fix this soon but you just cannot drive in this game. I almost always preferred fast traveling. However, with a controller, I can say I have never had such an experience with GTA V. Now, I did not play much of driving games, so take this with a grain of salt, but when I started using controller for driving, it became a favourite thing to do for me. Interior designs of cars are beautifully well done. You can drive for hours with a music and sightsee Night City, without being bored.

Music: This is one of the most important things that makes a game great in my opinion. Without good music, you cannot have good immersion and emotions. I think CDPR nailed it again after their success with Withcer 3.

I want to say, at first, I was kind of neutral towards the game. Didn't know anyone particularly, didn't know what will I encounter as in the lore side of things, and that made me somewhat a stranger to the Night City. After some time, with the beautiful storytelling of CDPR, even without reading lore shards or any extra information on the net, I found myself truly familiarized with the characters and environments rather quickly. The way they present you the story and characters is amazing. Well done CDPR.

Even with 30 hours in, there are still a lot of side quests to do, which are one of the best side quests of all time. And different endings to find.

All in all, I had a very pleasant experience with this game. I will definitely come back after the DLCs, hopefully the game will be more stable then, and I will have more things to explore.

“Guess the Hill wasn’t so Silent huh, Mary?”

Its just really badass when James is holed up in the apartment, onto his last magazine of ammunition, the pyramid heads are breaking in, and he looks at the grenade mary gave him before he went to iraq. Full circle storytelling, and then when the nine inch nails song starts playing, perfection!

In the name of Jesus you cannot do any harm to me, Azazel. Jesus is my protector and my strength. You cannot come against me when I trust Jesus to keep me safe. Jesus will never leave me and therefore you will not have any power to control me because he is so powerful within me. I love the lord my God and what he has in store for you is many years of suffering because of your evil ways. You have the choice to be destroyed in our end times or come to Jesus and ascend into the heaven of our heavenly father. I hope you choose faith and love over evil.
