Short, sweet, & complete. I played dredge on the steam deck and enjoyed it quite a bit. Nothing felt like a poor translation from a PC, and the PC controls didn't feel like controller controls. Dredge proves itself to be tightly designed and appropriately scoped. It took me a little under 10 hours to complete and I certainly could have gone on longer, and would definitely replay again. The progression is satisfying, with all of the elements at play not being forgotten.

Now, for a little constructive critique: (Wouldn't really count these against the game)
I never really had a reason to explore at night. I pushed it at the end of the game, but did not get to see all of the threats the game had to offer because of that. This is a playstyle choice.
The characters felt like they shrunk in scope instead of growing. As you explore, you'll do less talking, not more. There are fewer settlements, and more hostile environments. The characters we do meet are appropriately tragic and certainly compelling, but the worldbuilding we do get in the Marrows and Ingfel (The first two locales) are interesting and I wish there was more of it.
