Okay, this'll probably be one of my most serious reviews so far.
This game really is a masterpiece, the creator of I wanna be the Boshy, Solgryn (or Grynsoft) really did an awesome job with this platformer. The pixely graphics are colorful and well made, giving a feel of Metroidvania-like platformer.
The story itself is well executed, maybe a bit lacking at certain times but it is easily forgotten with the awesome soundtrack Solgryn made. The difficulty curve is nicely balanced, the beginning aims to teach new moves and controls, the end however is more of a challenge using those skills and all that you've learned.

PROS :
The beautiful pixel art style
Fitting music
Nice difficulty curve
Tons of unlockables and achievements for someone like me to love
Various game mechanics throughout the game
Nice story
"Side quests"
Controller support (I'm playing with my trusty N64 USB controller)
Difficulty levels

CONS :
Checkpoints not giving you life back when you reactivate them
Lots of RNG-based bosses in the late game (Flawless = Pure luck)
Some messy hitboxes (Thunder hitboxes are weird)

In conclusion :
This game is a must-have if you have some skill in platforming and like the art style, but keep in mind: this game is NOT for the faint-hearted, if you are okay at platforming, you WILL rage a lot. Even if you're good at platforming, this game takes platforming differently.
I can only say one more thing if you buy it: Good luck <3
