Hands down one of the greatest games I've ever played in my life.

Rain World's brilliance stems from how terrifyingly organic everything is. It isn't a horror game by genre, but it may as well be. Creatures will assail you with as though they really mean to kill you - nothing is held back. The environments aren't structured in a way that makes it obvious where to go next which, when combined with the threat of torrential rain, makes the mere act of exploring absolutely anxiety inducing. The mystery of the world makes it worth surpassing every obstacle to reach. It's challenging, and not for people who aren't prepared to fail countless times.
