I'm in Oklahoma but I really could've used your temps. In July, we get really hot here. I remember 1996 pretty well. I got pregnant with my youngest that year. My mom's fish tank broke around 3:30 am and I had an appt that day so it was a tough day for us both. I'm still not adjusted.

I'm so sorry for your losses. As we age, we see more and more of that. Something I did not consider when I was younger, or I pushed it out of my mind?

Have you tried House Flipper 2 yet? If you do, and you paint the walls, I recommend you use the wasd keys or you will be dragging your mouse off your pad repeatedly lol

Finally got my new CPU, games are playing so much easier. Hope you're staying cool in this heat. I too live in the great state of Michigan, in Monroe here. Love it. Can't wait for the cool weather again, hate the heat can't take off enough clothes to get cool, but you can always put more on to get warm, hehehe.
And I would like to extend my condolences on your losses. Those are never easy. We've lost so many over the past few years. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Lost my Mama in '96 and lost 5 of my foster children during Covid, along with 2 foster brothers and several friends. Since then we've lost another 7 friends and family members. Life sucks. We just need to find a way to regroup and go on for their legacy. Again I am so sorry for your losses.

If I want to get any of the newer ones I would need to get a newer cpu, which bites. No cash right now for that. It's cool though I like doing the houses I have. I'm really good at it. Love designing. Used to do the sims, just wasn't challenging enough for me. This is so much better. Oh. I live in the southeast corner of Michigan we luckily do not get a lot of snow but extreme cold from the water front. Wishing you warmth from Michigan. Hope to talk again my friend.
