Squidalicious Model Ports!

hi everyone, it's been a minute!

so i'm sure a lot of us are aware of what's going on, nintendo has filed a cease and desist to garry's mod which is resulting in takedowns of all nintendo related content on the workshop

now this sucks, matter of fact it REALLY sucks, and this is genuinely one of the shittiest things nintendo has ever done and this just further proves they are an awful company, but sadly there is not much we can do

to prevent being affected by this i urge you all to backup all of your addons, not just for gmod but for sfm as well

once the addons get removed from the workshop, the programs will automatically delete them all next time you boot it up so make sure you got absolutely EVERYTHING backed up on to another part of your computer

i have long stopped using garry's mod and sfm, but i feel terrible for everyone who will be affected by this, and part of this personally gets to me as well since so much work was put in to everything me and other content creators have put out

these addons and softwares are the reason why i've gotten as far as i did as an artist today, so its just really sad to see this happen

i wish you all the best, and i pray that there will be some work around to this so that the creativity from this community can continue to flourish

Edit by FancyNight: If you're confused as to why addons have been disappearing for the past month or two, Nintendo filed the order to facepunch a few months ago, and they slowly started working on it until people started saying to investigate it further to see if it's real, hence why it stopped for a bit, but Gary Newman on Twitter confirmed it's real a few hours ago sadly.

Like what funny green guy said, back up your files, once they're gone from the workshop they'll be gone yada yada yada, don't try to re-upload them, you will either get into trouble or they'll be removed quickly, be safe
