Silicon Sports is an eSports community based in Melbourne, Australia. Our primary goal is to help eSports become an officially recognised sport within Australia & New Zealand, similar to that of our Asian and US counterparts.

Since March 2012, Silicon Sports has and continues to host regular social events for major video game tournaments for the local gaming community. These are known as BarCrafts for the game StarCraft 2, Pubstomps for the game DOTA 2 and MOBArs for the game League of Legends.

Silicon Sports also run their own tournaments, both online and at LANs, for several game titles.

Besides this, Silicon Sports helps local talented players by supporting them in a professional gaming team, Team Silicon Sports, otherwise known as SLCN.pro http://siliconsports.net/pro/.
