I. Who We Are

Lava World has been formed in order to provide players with the optimal JKA experience. We welcome players from all backgrounds and clans. Our server's entire purpose is to make your gaming experience as enjoyable as possible. Because of this, we will defer to the public on issues in which they constitute the clear majority. Debate is encouraged and promoted.

We believe our few rules are enough to accomplish this purpose. The vast majority (95%+ of JKA) are gamers who have been exposed to all sorts of internet behaviors their entire life. We believe in our playerbase's ability to navigate social interactions, on their own, without admins interfering and holding their hand.



II. Rules

1. No laming. This means attacking players that are unarmed. An unarmed player has their saber deactivated, is not in melee mode, and is not engaging in combat. A player is armed if they have melee mode up, their saber is activated, or they are engaging in combat. Engaging in combat includes flipkicking. If a player deactivates their saber to flee from a fight, they are still considered armed.

2. No harassment. Cursing, insulting, and taunting are all tolerated behaviors. However, if this goes to an extreme, Lava World can ask you to stop. Lava World retains the right to use its subjective judgment here.

3. No spamming. We will not be lenient with this one.

4. No impersonation of Lava World members.

5. No advertising other servers.

6. No admin abuse. If admin abuse occurs, do not hesitate in contacting Lava World to report it. I strongly, strongly suggest having evidence via screenshot. If a member of Lava World is caught trying to suppress the admin abuse report, they will also be liable. Admin abuse consists of using punitive admin powers (kicking, silencing, sleeping, banning) to restrict a player's activity without adhering to the following guidelines:
a. The player must be explicitly breaking one Rules 1-5.
b. The player MUST be warned, at least once, before being punished.
c. If the rule being broken is Rule 1, the player is not to be punished unless at least one other player reports him to the admin, and is then warned but continues breaking the rule. This is to prevent punishing lamers if they aren't bothering the people they're killing.
