Minecraft Server Update!

Hey everyone!!! ^-^ SO I have some VERY exciting news for everyone. Our server has been MAJORLY upgraded. BUT The bad news is you have to do a couple downloads to be able to log in properly. On the plus side ALL of your buildings and what have you did NOT get reset. SO you can continue from where you where and keep building but with more tools.
So what exactly does this update mean for you the players? Well ALLOT!

Here is a quick breakdown of whats new:

- The Server now has a 1.7.10 Base

- QUEST! QUEST AND MORE QUESTS!!! We have a FULL quest system And so you are all put aware YOU CAN ACTUALLY WIN AT THIS SERVER. I dont think its going to happen especially not until we get a good bunch of people on the server cause it DOES REQUIRE teamwork to kill bosses and such.

- MANY Dungeon, caves, temples, houses, forts, wearhouses, towers, towns, villages, cities, beach houses, ports, cabins. . . . (you get the point)

- Better Rail system

- Magical Items, weapons and armour. . . I dont mean the regular stuff. You can actually FLY on a witches broom!!!

- New items, weapons, armour, blocks, minerals, Oil, water.....

- ACTUAL FREAKING BOATS!!! 2 different types actualy. Simple ship or cargo ship.

- OMFG cute new creatures!

- OMFG RUN AWAY Scary monsters! Including some that can kill an OP/Admin even in creative mode. And there all tinny. . . yes all of them are small . . . And not at all any creatures that are as big as FREAKING CASTLES AND BLOW STUFF UP AND REQUIRES GROUPS TO KILL!!!!

- More fish, flying creatures, Mechanics, Tech objects and many many many new features including a map of where you are.

- Improved server response time. AKA the game actually runs smoother.

This makes the required download Well worth the work!

OK The Hard but very simple part.

Here is what you ned to do in order to play:

1) Have a PC Minecraft account.

2) Make sure to RUN your regular minecraft in 1.7.10 atleast once before going to the next step.

2) Download the ATLauncher. and place it into its own NEW folder. http://www.atlauncher.com/downloads

3) Run the AT Launcher for the first time.

4) Go to profile and enter and save your credentials in the account tab. You dont need to save your password if you dont want to.

5) Go to the Pack tab and search for Madpack 2, Install the client side. THIS may take some time.

NOTE: Durign the install it may pop-up saying that it needs to send you to a website in order for you to add a jar to your mod folder in your .minecraft folder. DO IT!!! It is required to run.

6) Once the install is done Go to the instance Tab and click Play. WARNING! This phase may take some time! Its normal to have a minecraft type window open and look like its frozen, just keep your eye on the console movement. On a FAST system it may take up to 1 -4 min to launch the launch window, especially the first time.

7) Log into our server and Enjoy!

Today its quite simple. Work with your partner to find as many memes hidden with in the following text. Once you guys know how many memes and what they are send me a PM with your answer. For those of you who participated last year this should look familliour and gives you a bigger chance to win get the max ammount of correct answers.

Day 1 Challenges!

First things first if you haven't made a team yet do so now!

This challenge is split in 3 quests.

1) All teams need a team name! So find a team name with your partner and post it in the comment section here.

2) Send in a photo of yourself doing something geeky or gaming related or wearing a silly hat. (Must be a photo, No exceptions will be made this year. If they don't want to do it, then that's up to you.)

3) Draw or write to describe and create in GREAT detail a video game mascot.

Remember that for each challenge completed you get the chance to win MORE games. Quest 1 & 3 is a join effort for points. Quest 2 give youre team a chance to gain double points if both member sends in a photo. NOTE: A link to a photo is just as good as sending an actual photo.
