When I founded this group 10 years ago, it was intended to serve the community by informing about activity on the servers.
At that Time, group announcements were displayed in real time as a short pop-up window to all members who were online.
On the one hand, this should serve the game by fill the server, and on the other hand it should inform the player when one of his favorite maps has been played.

But Steam discontinued this pop-up function a few years ago, which meant that this group lost its use/purpose.
To restart the support to this game, by this over 1300 Member-strong community, i had the Idea how to send you again short information about server-activity..

If you want to get informed about enough player at one of the server, just join our Groupchat! I will wrote a short info about current Map and number of Players, which you can notice as (new message mark) at the “groupchat-track” on your steam friendlist window. If you dont want to get informed you can leave the chat without leaving the group.

@HAGGISPIE Missed that comment, but yes, very much alive and getting updates regularly. Peak playing hours are afternoon and evening EU time and most of the day on weekends. We also host events roughly once a month on weekends. I try to post them here as well, but sometimes I forget. Most of the community activity these days happens on the official Discord server (there's a link to it at the main menu of the game).

Hi,I am banned permanently from the good guy server and I still dont know why, I play on this server for 2 years and I know the rules but suddenly in game someone banned me for no reason (or maybe I was not the player he expected to ban). Please if you want Darkest Hour alive it would be nice if someone can resolute this issue.
