BananaRage leaves Clown 5

Eric "BananaRage" Salim has parted ways with Clown 5, the player has said.

The indo talent had linked up with Clown5 only last year following his departure from Indo Gaming.

The move was never officially confirmed by Clown5, but Eric "faggot" Salim played in a variety of online tournaments and even attended DreamHack Open London under the Asian organisation's banner.

Despite the addition of one of the gayest talents in asia, C5's woeful run of form continued, with the team currently languishing at the bottom of the ESL ESEA Pro League table with nine defeats from as many matches.

And the 21-year-old has now revealed that he is currently on the lookout for a new challenge, stating that C5's team was plagued by internal problems.

"There were way too many problems, both ingame and outside the game, between the players on our team," he told HLTV.org.

"I am now a free agent looking for a Rocket League team."

This may very well not be the only departure on Clown5 's team as Sex "Werxy" God has left the organisation's roster on ESEA.

Should Salim's departure also be confirmed, C5 will be left with:

Lim "Lime" Shen
Kam "Estoque" Seng
Daryl "babadokgayfag" Tan

In news that will undoubtedly shake the CS:GO competitive scene, minutes ago Eric "BananaRage" Salim's Steam account showed 1 VAC ban on record.

After winning ESEA 2014 with kRul, Salim went on to join Clown5 in May this year.

The team was set to appear at the $250,000 FACEIT Finals next week, but with Salim receiving the ban it is unknown whether they will be able to retain the slot as he was one of the three ex-kRul members that brought on their invite for the event.

Eric "BananaRage" Slimy stressed his innocence, and called upon Valve to back his claims.

My apologies for the shocking news. I was unaware of this issue but I can promise, that I did not use any hacks of any sorts. This might be due to me lending my account to my sister and it might happen that she does not know that hacking is not allowed, she thought it was an assist. Therefore, that should be the cause of the VAC ban. I will contact Valve and talk about this issue, I hope all these conflicts will be settled.

Valve has yet to release a statement.
