ABOUT TF2 Weaponary + Item Raffles

A cheap, fun way of getting items!

TF2 Weaponary + Item Raffles is a safe and fair community and we are set up to try and give people a chance to get cheap TF2 items!

Before you parcipitate in any raffle you may want to read the rules and blahdeblahdeblah:

1. Admins/Owners do not profit from this group if the prize is bought with entry fees or been given as a donation. The entry fees collected from each raffle are put into the next. (The bigger the entry fee, the better the prize). If an admins own item is used they can only get the excess of the items worth. E.g if the item is worth 1.33 but we get 1.66 in entry fees the 0.33 is kept.

2. Our raffle winners are chosen in a fair and unbiased way. Random.org!

3. You can place more than one entry fee into most of our raffles (stated otherwise). Also the maxium entries by a single person will be shown on each raffle.

4. All details about individual raffles will be displayed on their page. If you have any questions comment on the page and don't bug the admins or owners.

5. You can get refunds on your entry fee/s only before participant numbers have been shown. After that, tough luck. Also donation refunds are only applicable 1 hour after the donation is recieved as it will of most likely been raffled and I cannot afford to keep paying you back with my own items. {With some exceptions allowed}.

ANY DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED. Only give donations to the owner: JayG. Also every time you donate to this group you will automatically get TWO FREE ENTRIES to the raffle(s) of your choice!

New Music Channel- Come and check it out!

Hey there,

I've recently started a channel focusing on chillstep and deep house tracks that are yet to get noticed in the community. My first upload has never been heard on Youtube before. I would appreciate it if you could check it out, you may discover new beats that you like in the process!

Uploads will be frequent, and so will competitions. Don't forget to submit your very own music and photography to the channel, it could gain you an audience!

The IRC Channel is : #tf2.trade.unusual

This new chat channel was set up because Havoc {owner} realized that a lot of what people like in trading without the fuss of having to start up TF2 etc. And now you don't need too! All you need to do is join the channel and start telling people about your trades, and remember people like SEEING the hats, so we recommend you have screenshots available (uploaded to a reputable site-NO TINYURL's) so that you can start showing off you classy hats!

-This should be a SAFE place to go to trade, so if someone seems fishy, DO NOT HESITATE to contact Havoc or me and tell me who it is so the appropriate actions can be taken.
-Please only post unusual trades in the chat!

-Other than that, Happy trading! Havoc and I will be be maintaining it, so if you have any questions/comments/etc. Just throw them down below, chances are someone else has the same one!

How To Join[/b]

For those who have never used IRC, you don't need to download anything, you can just go here: https://client00.chat.mibbit.com/
In the 'connect' drop down, choose 'gamesurge', in the 'channel' area, type #tf2.trade.unusual and then in 'nick' put in your desired nickname / username.

What's so great about IRC?[/b]

-Unlimited amount of users, no more advertising to just 24 - 32 at a time.
-When a server fills up, you can end up with a lot of people to advertise to.
-Unlimited space! You don't need to wait for a slot, there are almost unlimited slots!
-Almost instant startup time. No more waiting for Steam, then TF2 then a server to load!! Just load up a webpage (or irssi, xchat, mIRC, colloquy, or whatever your flavour of IRC client etc)
-Runs alongside TF2. You never need to leave the server when server hopping.
-Discreet! Constantly running TF2 is virtually impossible. If you have irssi set up, an IRC channel just looks cool (for the uninitiated, anyone who runs any form of IRC will chuckle at this, especially irssi users) and running it requires very little system resources so there's no problem in just leaving it going.
