The DNP rallies in Danzig; Speaks of the War

Alexander von Schleinitz and his partners within the party have began their campaign for the next elections in the Prussian government. The man himself has decided to rally a large crowd of people near a port used by the Prussian navy. The topics he will be discussing are the Prussian-Danish War and the Foreign Threat.

The Prussian-Danish War over Schleswig-Holstein:

"Brothers, sisters, come gather and listen to my spiel. Our grand Prussian army has been victorious in countless operations regarding the advance into Schleswig-Holstein. Even to the point where most nations would admit defeat. We, have shown to our northern neighbours, that the German people will fight with all their might for rightful German territories. We will liberate the people who know they are German, and are being culturally reduced to nationalities such as "Danish" and "Russian", as well as even... French. It is why we must understand, this war has been a benefit to our military and our people, learning new ways of fighting the occupants of our German lands, and that we can stand up to foreign powers. But, we must also address the elephant in the room..."

Foreign Threats, Peace, or More War?

"...This elephant is quite big, and we call them, the Russians. The Russians, although we would beat them in a one-on-one, nation versus nation, situation, have pledged support to the Kingdom of Denmark, alongside the British and Sweden. It is one thing, fighting the Danish army alone... It is another fighting at least two established empires, one with a navy that would ruin our economy, and another with a land army of what seems to be thousands, upon thousands, of slavic soldiers, willing to die for the conquest of Prussia on the word of the Tsar... We cannot risk any sort of potential rise that Prussia can establish to being a major power. Or, dare I say, a global power... Prussia has the potential to form a trans-continental superpower... Imagine, the Germans having colonies in the Americas, in Africa, Asia, Oceania... We have potential, but that potenital will be lost, if we get dragged into a war with the Russians, the British and the Swedes, all at once... We would spend decades rebuilding. We can't ruin the German people's fate over the Danish war! We must bring an end to it now! The German people want to prosper, not suffer! For there will be no Germany, when half of our armed forces are in bloody Denmark, while the other half is not enough to beat the Russians alone! Our most responsible, diplomatic approach to the situation, is to sign a white-peace with the Danes... But trust me. In our lifetimes, there will be a united Germany... But we must be patient. Otherwise, we will reap what we sow..."

The crowd discusses the words of the DNP and their members begin leaving the area, preparing for a journey to the Rhineland...
