Unit Overview

The 24th MEU is made up of a headquarters element, a ground element which is the 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines and an aviation element which is made up of squadrons the Marine Aircraft Group 29 that provides close air support and small number insertions and heavy lift operations and large scale insertions.


Within our unit we currently run off the Marine Corps structure which involves the normal squad of 13 men. We then follow the normal structure for platoon sized elements which is 3 squads per platoon.

This structure therefore means we give access to the following roles:

- Platoon FRO
- Platoon Corpsman

Squad Level
- Squad Leader
- Combat Engineer
- Squad Corpsman

Fireteam Level
- Fireteam Leader
- Rifleman
- Asst Autorifleman
- Auto Rifleman

Aircraft Wing
- Pilot
- Co Pilot
- Crew Chief
- Gunner


Within the 24th MEU you will be required to par take in a variety of training. To pass the rank of Recruit you must attend and complete both Recruit training which will teach the basics of ArmA 3 and the mods included and School of Infantry will include advanced tactics and skills.


To get promoted within the 24th MEU is quite simple, we run a promotion points system which rewards members for continuously attending operations and events and punishing those who are unreliable, when you reach a certain amount of point and have the qualifications and presets required you get promoted.


Joining the 24th MEU is very simple all you must do is complete the application on our website and then come on teamspeak for an interview.

If you wish to join up as a group then we will allow you all to serve together in the same squad , if you bring 2 others with you then you are allowed to be their fireteam leader within the unit, assuming you pass the relevant training which comes with the position and if you bring 6+ you are able to take the position of their squadleader.
