An und für sich ist das Englisch im Spiel leicht verständlich. Das Problem sind die Rätseltruhen. Da braucht man schon sehr, sehr solide Sprachkenntnisse um sich da nicht (noch) schwer(er) zu tun...

Problem is, that the gog-versions does not have the improved music of the steam version which is really a delight to listen to!
Nonetheless, it was helpful to post your last comment, LeVerrier, because the OP may be glad to have ANY version working in his mother tongue...
Kannst Du mir vielleicht nen Tipp geben, was genau ich wohin kopieren muss? Das wär super, denn ich will das Spiel sowas von unbedingt wieder spielen können. <3

Finally managed to Play this game via CD by using DOS-BOX. There are lots of helpful manuals which explains how to mount the CD and create a shortcut for starting the game faster.
Tip: I had to increase the Speed by Pressing ALT+F12 a few times or else BaK lagged pretty hard while walking around in the game.
