I just bought the game today because It was on sale. Everything downloading correctly but when I press play the game says updating executable for a couple seconds then just stops launching the game. I really want to play the game as soon as possible I've verified files several times and it still hasn't worked. What should I do?...

Just verify the game files on steam, it will show that is missing one file. That will fix the problem.
