I've been able to successfully play through this game with around 8 hours put in and coming to what feels like the end of the game. However, I'm experiencing weird lag spikes every 5-7 seconds now that I didn't experience in the entire 8 hours I've been playing. I guess I can blame the newest NVIDIA driver for that but I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue and if there's a fix. ive tried metros and fallouts

Is there alot to fix before you can start up the game and start playing on a more modern computer? How are the controls and the FPS? Is there a mouse smoothing/acceleration that you can't turn off and is it playable at 144hz/165+ hz monitors?
