BILLIONS MUST FISH!


This is a fantastic fishing game about meeting random people, discussing wild things and drawing beautiful art all while having a fantastic fun time in an Animal Crossing graphics land of wonder.

I think there was a curator whose words were a perfect description of this game. Paraphrased, "Old-school chatrooms disguised as a furry fishing game". And I'm all for low-poly multiplayer Animal Crossing. The game is so relaxing and therapeutic, that after a long stressful week of university, I was able to rewind and slow down. While fishing solo is good, bringing your friends along just makes the experience 10x better.

10/10, would fish again. Considering its cheap, I suggest you play it and experience the therapeutic experience of fishing before the big bad red game company comes and takes this down, before re-releasing it into some NSO-based laggy rendition of this game.

The quick popularity of this game really shows how badly people have been wanting more games that you can just jump into and play. No meta to read up on, no game seasons that force you to play to get the best rewards, and no pressure to be at a certain level to keep with other player; in this game you just gotta fish. I like that, we need more games like this, not everyone has time for 300+ hour games these days and its nice to have ones where you can hop on, do a bit of fishing, and leave at your pleasure. I look forward to see how this game evolves over the coming year and with its very obvious Animal Crossing inspiration features such as bug and fossil hunting could add a lot to the game in my personal opinion.

Yeah big recommendation from me, I rarely write reviews on here so I definitely see some potential in this game.

EDIT: I should state as of this review unfortunately the game has a really bad hacker issue despite the game's positives. Though the problems they can cause are minor and only really affect you in-game if this concerns you I'd recommend you hold back your purchase until the developer releases a patch to fix these very blatant cybersec issues.
