I really want to like this game. The art and overall style are really beautiful. Buildung little houses and landscapes is fun to do, though sadly in it's current state there just aren't enough options for me to enjoy it for many hours.

For example, depending on what you build where, the game randomly generates some clutter, like barrels, benches or carts, but there is just no option to manually place those things where you actually might want them. So you might sit there and move one window back and forth until you get the details you actually want, which I find very annoying and tedious.

There is so much room to expand, with different roof and wall materials, more decorations etc. At the moment the available selection is just really disappointing.
There also aren't simple ways to place things like stairs and the controls are kind of fiddly or overly sensitive sometimes. Placing, cutting, rotating and moving wall after wall after wall just to get some stairs is really annoying which then destroys the cozy and relaxed atmosphere I actually wanted to experience.
And in the end you have to recolor every single wallpiece separately, because there are no tools to select and edit multiple things at once. There isn't even a copy function!

After playing just a short while the game felt pretty barebones. Two types of lamps, three kinds of windows, one type of flower and so on. Also just not enough tools to move and edit structures. I want to simply be creative and relaxed building little places. Instead it seems I have to spend hours watching YouTube tutorials and then more hours fighting the randomizer and the controls before I can actually build what I want.

If they add more of the mentioned options in the future I am inclined to revisit this one, though as it is now I sadly can't recommend it.

There are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
