One of the most accurate and complex portrayals of grief. Doesn't try to pathologize grief, but instead understands it as messy, complex, and deeply personal. As well, the game allows the player to choose the path different characters will take, instead of putting grief into rigid "right" and "wrong" boxes.

There is no one correct way to grieve. It is different for every person, and it impacts every moment of life; every relationship and decision made.

This is a beautifully haunting game. An unguided narrative through a topic that is not often discussed in our real lives.

I've read somewhere that this game is a "perfect grief simulator". It may not be "perfect" after all - there are some plot issues, some performance issues (game started to lag slightly at the end for me), characters that are not supposed to known about the conversation are standing just around you without any reaction... Having all this in mind, I still would say that playing this game is an interesting storytelling experience, which could also transform to a very personal emotional journey as far as you play.
