Mods not working :(
I just got back to brotato and my mods arent working. Ive tried to disable all of them and reinstall the game, but nothing worked. (I only use steam workshop for modding) I even tried to buy the DLC thinking maybe it would help but still no. It just says this : "Unexpected error in mod codecimal-drivingpruner. Mods have been temporarily disabled." But ive waited alot of time and its still there if anyone knows the solution please tell me. :GDDemon:

There's a beta branch that says "Version 1.0.0.3", which I might use if I wanted to use older mods. (Right click the game in Steam, click Properties, click Beta) You could try it. Most old mods will never work again since they won't ever be updated.
I fixed za problem! :D

Neat. What was the issue?
How did you fix it? Also am having the same problem
I actually just fixed it. For anyone having that problem, go to the old version of the game and start a quick run. Then just finish it quickly. That will fix it.

But does that fix it to work with the dlc and the most recent update or just for that version?
I have solved the problem. I also wanted to play the new DLC with mods and did some research. The following steps are to be followed:
1. delete all mods by unsubscribing from the Steam Workshop
2. open the Brotato folder under “AppData” and delete the entire “logs” folder (usually found under C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Brotato)
3. (Optional) Check the game for errors. To do this, right-click on the game in the Steam library, then “Properties...”, “Installed files” and start the check with “Verify integrity of game files
4. start the game as usual. You should no longer see an error message at the bottom of the main menu.
5. from now on mods can be re-subscribed and should work again

It is important to know that the last saved run is corrupted and no longer works. Old mods that do not work with the current game version can cause this error again. Simply proceed as described above and the problem should be solved again.
