1. delete all mods by unsubscribing from the Steam Workshop
2. open the Brotato folder under “AppData” and delete the entire “logs” folder (usually found under C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Brotato)
3. (Optional) Check the game for errors. To do this, right-click on the game in the Steam library, then “Properties...”, “Installed files” and start the check with “Verify integrity of game files
4. start the game as usual. You should no longer see an error message at the bottom of the main menu.
5. from now on mods can be re-subscribed and should work again
It is important to know that the last saved run is corrupted and no longer works. Old mods that do not work with the current game version can cause this error again. Simply proceed as described above and the problem should be solved again.
thanks mate that worked but for me i had to mark that i can see hidden folders
Thanks it worked too. Now I can see my mods with the new DLC
