How to fix the 30 FPS cap after Windows 10 Anniversary Update (1067)

This guide will let you fix the well known 30 FPS cap problem after the Anniversary update of Windows 10.

Introduction
This guide WILL fix the FPS cap that occurs in CS:GO suddenly after the Windows 10 Anniversary update (1067).
How to fix the 30 FPS Cap
Step 1:
Navigate to your start menu and search for XBOX and click on it.
This window should open up:


Step 2:
Make sure you are signed in to your Microsoft account, click the settings tab and then click on Game DVR. It should look like this:

Step 3:
Disable the label "Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR"


Thats it!
WOW only 3 steps?! Now I feel stupid.

Trickster nope :) As soon as you have configured DVR you can log out xbox.

do i have to stay logged in to the xbox app after turning this off for it to work??
