"The Skorn won’t be satisfied with the destruction of your home planet and will be tracking your movements. Avoiding combat is in your best interest, so it’s advised you keep moving and resist the urge to linger in any one sector for too long. You should also steer clear of Patrols and approach Traders with caution as the hostile Menkhet often conceal themselves by using friendly vessels. If you do come into contact, use the frequencies of your Battle Stations to block enemy shots and ensure yours penetrate their shields.

Tips:
• Use Management Mode (Pause Game) to gather yourself and examine your ship’s status
o Check on Module HP / Ship Hull HP in Engineering Screen
o Determine if Enhancements are still active
o Apply Repair Parts to prolong / recover from Combat
• Understanding Frequencies is CRITICAL for combat (See Image)
• Target enemy Modules to facilitate engagements and reduce damage taken (See Image)
• Use Red Enhancements on Combat Systems to reduce charge time
• Pause Game and Enhancement usage should increase with number of Enemies faced
• Attempt to block multiple shots at once by timing your Deflect

Playing game in windowed mode at 1280 X 720. Excited to try my first fight but unfortunately none of the combat UI was available. Four blank screens popped up and I had to wait about three minutes for the Skorn to kill me because I was unable to quit in the middle of a fight. Despite this, I actually support not having the option to quit in a fight. Just having the option to fight in a fight would be preferrable.

Events occuring way too fast. Coming back when the game reaches beta and at least SOME balancing has been done.

If you are in a situation like this its the best choise to attack the weapon systems from the skorn cruiser first.

Add this image to game. I got wrecked in combat everytime until i saw this, just a little explanation of game mechanics would help. Now i'm actually getting past the first system and enjoying it.

There are tons of games out there that have no in-game tutorial, but a simple colourful explanatory manual or wikia. Let's not forget that.

You say in game tutorials are a lot of work, if I were project manager I would not dare release a game without one. I think the fact this game is being slaughtered in reviews is due to the fact most people have not got a clue what they are doing. I dread to think how much money the lack of a manual or tutorial has cost you guys in sales. I just can't ever get my head around releasing a product with a complex system and not including a manual, it's corporate suicide imo.

Couldn't you make the loading screens display this image instead of being entirely white, at least until a proper tutorial is added to the game?
