Gwent Cards
De Indigo
Now with "Blood and Wine" expansion pack
Gwent cards are special playing cards used in an ancient dwarven game in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Gwent is a competitive sport in the Northern Realms, so you’ll need a great deck and a quick wit to beat some of the stronger players. To build a great deck, you’ll need to collect rare cards. In this guide, we’re going to show you most the Gwent cards, their effects and locations.

Gwent Finder Book
When you open it, it will show the number of cards you’re missing in each area. Once you get it, you’ll have a much easier time unlocking the Card Collector achievement.
You can get the book from two different people:
  • The gwent-playing scholar you meet in the tavern in White Orchard, during the prologue – the one that teaches you how to play gwent. You’ll have to beat him in a game, and then he’ll give you the book for free.

  • The merchant at the square near St. Gregory’s Bridge. Spawn at the bridge signpost and head south-east to the nearby square. The shop is on the western side of the plaza – it’s the one where you can buy the respec potion. It costs a measly 3 crowns, so you don’t have to worry about affording it.

"Defeat the caravan trader east of Vegelbud Residence" "Bought from caravan trader east of Vegelbud Residence"

He is WEST of the Vegelbud Residence, not EAST

(Continued from previous post)

You need to include the duplicates. The Card Collector achievement requires that you find all 199 cards of the base game. The Collect 'em All! quest requires that you find 120 of those 199. This does not include any of the Leader cards nor any of the duplicates in any of the deck of the base game. And it also does not include any cards added with the expansions. What's important to note about the quest is that it does not count cards that have the same name regardless of whether they have different face artwork so all three Crones cards count as a single Crone, all five Vampire cards count as a single Vampire and the three Arachas cards and the one Arachas Behemoth card count as a single Arachas card.

I'd think any Gwent guide for this game should include all of that information, don't you?
BuzzardBee 31 mai 2018 à 13h40
Your listing of the Skellige cards is woefully incomplete. Beginning the Never Fear, Skellige's Here quest, you are given 25 Skellige cards. I get that you don't list any duplicates for any of the decks, which is not very helpful at all, IMO, but not listing them for the Skellige deck doesn't do much to help with that either. You are then tasked with playing for the remaining 19 cards as part of the quest. You don't list any of those cards either. Not much of a guide there, is it?

Plus, your listing for the Neutral Special cards don't include the three Skellige Storm cards that were added with Blood and Wine. And while you do mention most of the cards added with Hearts of Stone, you don't mention that the Cow card transforms into a Bovine Defense Force card at the end of a round when played.

That quest doesn't actually give a marker, though.
