@Blutdrachen
Sorry that'd be a lot of extra work so I don't have any plans to add it.

Can the settings also increase the frequency of the ability use? I want a version of this that brings back the no cool down machine gun fire breath from older versions of DD

No problem, glad you got it worked out.

It worked! I suppose I have a new mod troubleshooting method now. Thank you so much for being patient with me on such short notice, you've really saved the day here.

@FrozenSnowFox Okay, currently testing with only Vanilla Expanded, XML, Dragon's Descent, Dragon Genetics, Void Dwellers, the ability disable mod, and the 3 performance utility mods I mentioned earlier. Started a devtest colony with a tamed adult dragon. No ability visible, and the dragon doesn't use any abilities when fighting hostiles, just melees.

Going to try re-enabling all my mods and seeing if it works on my current save, I think you're right about the game file caching.

Try launching the game with just the basics to see if it works. RocketMan or another mod might be caching the game files and it might not be updating after changing the settings. Changing the mod list in such a fashion should force it to recache things.

As for Steam, they're very aggressive with stopping links now so it has to be a sort of approved site to get through. I've personally never used the Dragons Descent mod outside of testing for this mod so I'm afraid I can't provide much help picking out problematic mods for it.

Ah, steam removed the tinyurl, nvm

@FrozenSnowFox The mod is currently already 4th from the bottom of the list (above Performance Analyzer, FPSStabilizer, and RocketMan)

Here's also a screenshot of the settings and a drafted dragon able to use the spit ability still

Currently figuring out a way to post my modlist here to see if that can shed some light

There shouldn't be any issues. Try moving the mod near the end of your mod list. Maybe something is overwriting its changes.

A quick question though, I'm on 1.4 and I enabled all the XML settings and restarted the game but the dragons still have access to their abilities. Is there something I'm missing?
