I think its a frame rate thing. Elites will sometimes bounce off their head when they get killed. Sabres targeting AI is more aggressive and that glitch tends to happen with NPCs

I see people having this kind of trouble all the time on the MCC, but I have never had this issue on the Xbox.

I had something similar happen but it was an ODST instead of Kat and it was on Exodus.
