Description
Updated the mod with the distributions provided by axelroadman in the comments. The mod no longer will add more lids, jars, sugar and vinegar nor will it give back the lid after opening. Have fun folks ^^!

I tried to poke around and figure out how to spawn cooked versions of these jars, but unfortunately I don't know. I'm not very good with Lua or scripting either, so that doesn't help. If I figure it out, is it okay for me to upload a new version?

Which option changes spawn rate? "CrateCannedFood", 8,? Changing the 8 lower would change spawn rate?

the only thing preventing me to use this mod s the jars aint cooked

Seconded on the uncooked front. For them to be properly preserved, they should spawn cooked.

All the jars I've found have spawned with uncooked food? If the jars aren't cooked then they don't get preserved, which sorta defeats the whole point of the jarred food spawns

@postal, the food in the jars do not last forever, i think they go for 3 months so if you modify your start then the food will be rotten yes.
