Getting Max Perks at the beginning stages of the game
By the Winter Warlock
In this guide, I will explain on what Perks I maxed out at the beginning stages of the game. This comes in extremely handy when playing on much harder difficulties. Why not have the advantage on your side?

I got these perks when I was on the Ausmerzer for the first time. You can as well when you start the game before you get on the Ausmerzer build up on your perk meter. Lots of farming to be had, but not overly done as it was pretty fast.

Simply find an advantage point where you can save your game for example if you have an enemy with his back turned, you can save and unload on him. Soon as you kill him, reload the game. Rinse and repeat so to speak.

Take advantage that you can get multiple perks farmed at the same time, for example, If you stealth kill the Commander, you add to the stealth kill meter and quick commander kill meter at the same time. (Hint, If you stealth kill both commanders on the Ausmerzer in the beginning, you get the GHOST achievement.)

Perks that can be obtained

1. Heavy Weapons
2. Grenade Kills
3. Dual-Wield
4. Overcharged Kills
5. Combat Takedown

TACTICAL TIER (2 PERKS)

5. Headshot Kills
What I did to farm the perks
A brief explanation of what I did

STEALTH TIER
- Stealth Kills
Sneak from behind and do a takedown (not a combat takedown)

- Hatchet Throws
Throw your hatchet to make a kill. Stealth not needed.

- Quick Commander Kills
Sneak from behind and do a takedown on the Commander. This also adds to the Stealth Kills meter.

MAYHEM TIER
- Heavy Weapons
(After you kill the second Commander)
When you get that big laser gun after defeating the first big nazi super soldier, go to the place where you can recharge your gun. Save there and then melt the door with it and obliterate everyone. Rinse and repeat.

- Grenade Kills
I cornered the second Commander on the Ausmerzer after killing all the soldiers (yes the alert will go off so great time to farm headshots here)

- Dual-Wield
When you stealth kill the first commander on the Ausmerzer, SAVE. Then you can kill the Second Commander right below you to get the GHOST Achievement. Then reload and don't kill the Commander. Start killing the soldiers (without jumping down) and the Commander will call soldiers. Use Dual Wield and go for headshots at the same time.

- Overcharged Kills
I did this after the second commander ran and alerted the soldiers. When you kill all the soldiers, the second Commander will run down the hall. Jump down and find about 4 health packs. You need to be over 50 health to get this perk done. Get the health, run down the corridor where the commander ran to and kill him. When you get your dual wield perk, you can save just before killing the commander and using him to farm other perks.

- Combat Takedown
This is the opposite of stealth takedown. You have to confront the enemy face on. I did this with the second Commander after the fire fight. Again, I save in a good spot and just loaded the game to where I just have to throw my hatchet, nade, headshot, or what ever perk you are working on.

TACTICAL TIER
- Environment Kills
When you come to an area after blasting open a large gas container that will blow a hole in the floor. Drop down, kill a few enemies, and when you get in the main room, you will see RED tanks. Shoot those right away. I saw two places. Simple.

- Headshot Kills
Speaks for itself....

Keep in mind
Just don't forget to find good save spots!

I found using F5 to save and F9 to reload is much quicker than going through the load menu.
But F9 will ONLY load the F5 save and not the manual save.

If you are quick enough for example with my nade kills, you will toss your nade (make sure it lands where it needs to land) and save before it explodes. That way, when you load up, you don't have to launch the nade, it's already done. Let the the game work for you in these instances.

Thanks for reading and I do hope this helps.

If there are any things that remain unclear, please let me know. I am open to updating the guide.

Indeed, you are correct Slamhound. Its just the idea of farming as soon as possible before getting deeper into the map, you are already maxed out on Perks.

It's too bad though you can't keep your perks when you start a new game or at least have a choice.

A really good, early place to farm environmental kills is right at the start of the game. Save when you round the corner to be spotted by the two Nazis that get fried by Set's first microwave trap and reload as when they both pop.

The guard that you're supposed to kill with the first trap you can activate can also be farmed for stealth kills as well.
