They go in get the job done without any messing up or noise. When they strike they strike hard and fast and get out. These are the perfect soldiers.

Nah, these are fictional characters. The Combine Logo is visible on their shoulders. The link @J.S.T. - Luigi mentioned is for American Troops in World War 1.
